On Friday morning Jules, Cleo, Nero & Otto had their first vaccinations and health checks; they were very confident at the vets, and were much admired by everyone they met. They spent most of the day sleeping, which was a good thing as they were going to have a busy weekend! Following visits on Saturday, we can confirm all their future families and we’re very pleased that Jules and Otto will be going together to live with a fluffy Norwegian Forest, and Nero will be joining his sister Penny (Lexie) from Saffy’s last litter. With Cleo also joining a family with two tonks, everyone is going to have a great deal of fun. At the moment the kittens have a couple of mad play times each day and a good deal of sleepy time too – Saffy continues to look after them and still feeds them from time to time, and big sister Sylvia is getting in a lot of practise!
We are very pleased to have a new kitten joining the Chorus family in December, a lovely brown Tonkinese-pattern girl who will be called Agatha and who we hope will go on to be a breeding queen. Within a few months we hope Agatha will have some younger friends to play with as Sylvia will be mated when she’s next in season. The stud will be a fabulous new boy Ramintha of Rameses, recently imported from Thailand to add to the UK Tonkinese gene pool. If all goes to plan we hope to have our next litter of kittens towards the end of February or early March.
We hope you enjoy the latest photographs – all taken today (except those of Agatha and Ramitha). Click on a picture below for a larger version.
