This week Celia, Dulcie, and Lottie (now called Gigi) have taken their new homes by storm! The preparations their new families made for their arrival have been fabulous and they have all settled in well with everyone nicely adjusted already. All the kittens have a base in a family bedroom which is a great idea to give them a “safe place” from which introductions to other pets can take place. Corelli is due to leave next weekend, so Sylvia and especially our youngest girl Agatha have enjoyed having him around longer. We’re naturally a little sad when our kittens leave – but also happy that they are starting out on their own adventures and spreading the Tonkinese magic far and wide!
We love to get feedback about the kittens as they find their feet:
[Celia & Dulcie] have quite wonderfully exceeded expectations with us all. They are the joy I knew they would be and so much more. They are also beautifully socialised, and so involved in everything!
Gigi continues to entrance. I’m starting to learn the meaning of her different meows ([my burmese] only has one cry which means ‘feed me’!) She has an adorable meerkat pose when she hears something outside the room. Also, she makes eye contact far more than my other cats have done. [My daughter] is beside herself with joy to have a snuggle companion…
We are very busy now preparing the house for Saffy’s litter to be born as she is due on the 28th – so only 2.5 weeks to go… as a result it might go a little quiet online! For now please enjoy the first few pictures we’ve been sent:
Best wishes, Mike & Lizzi
